A restaurant in Sangju, Gyeongbuk, anchored by sundae-gukbap and grilled dishes cooked on a stone grate. The sundae-gukbap features a clean, clear broth with generous portions of blood sausage and meat. The real draw is the charcoal-grilled spicy squid bulgogi, packed with smoky flavor and just enough heat to keep you reaching for more rice. Grilled makchang (intestines) and soy sauce pork bulgogi are also excellent. Side dishes, especially the white kimchi, are high quality. Sundae-gukbap costs around 9,000 won and squid bulgogi 12,000 won, offering strong value. Parking is available in front of the restaurant or on the roadside.
