Stone steps lead up from the parking lot into a room of old wood and wide windows framing the Bukhansan ridgeline, and the second floor has the more open view. Waffles are baked to order, about a 10-minute wait, and the einspanner, coffee under a cap of cream, is the house drink. The black sesame red bean bingsu (shaved ice) is kept only lightly sweet.
