Cafe Saru 카페 사루

Saru moved from Gyeongnidan-gil into an old house in a Yaksu-dong alley, keeping the home's layout and filling it with cameras, flowers, dried bouquets and coffee jars. A converted garage serves as outdoor seating, and there is a rooftop too. Question is the single-origin pour-over; the Rwandan lot shows fruity acidity and a clean finish. Tiramisu and a handmade chocolate cookie go with the coffee, and the shop dog, Tan, greets visitors. Seats are few and alley parking is nearly impossible, so public transport makes more sense.
