Beke 베케

Rare flowers, trees and mosses, some seldom seen even in Jeju's gotjawal forests, grow between stone walls in the garden of Beke on Hyodon-ro. A docent explains the plants and spaces three times a day, and booking ahead is needed. The garden charges its own admission with drinks on top, which some visitors find steep. From the second floor the whole garden comes into view, and a screening room plays a short film through headphones.
