Scallops and pen-shell clams go straight onto a tabletop grill at this spot near the Taejongdae pebble-beach clam strip in Yeongdo. The shellfish platter comes with cheese and ramen noodles. A little cheese on a scallop melts into the juices pooled in its shell. The thick pen-shell adductor cooks slower than the thinner parts and is best grilled on its own. Butter-grilled shrimp or seafood ramen can come mid-meal, and leftover bits are fried with rice to finish. Seating is split between sea-facing outdoor tables and a tent-bar-style indoor room for rainy or windy days.
