Two live sheep spend their days in a fenced pen outside this Hongdae cafe, and visitors wash their hands before stroking the thick white wool. The animals come from farms, picked because they are small or struggle within the flock, and go back after about a year of care. Because the pen sits outside, the indoor room stays clean and roomy. The waffles are chewy with crisp edges. The ice cream waffle arrives with its scoop shaped like a sheep, and strawberry bingsu, a shaved-ice dessert, and coffee from Terarosa beans complete the menu. Feed for the sheep is sold only when the owner judges the animals are up to it.
