Taejongdae Jjamppong 태종대짬뽕

A notice on the wall says the broth uses no animal fat or meat, and as a result the sharp, spicy red soup tastes more clearly of mussels, octopus, abalone and squid than versions thickened with pork fat. The seafood means it is not vegetarian. On hot days there is also salureum naengjjamppong, a cold version with a thin layer of ice.
