The restaurant fills a converted two-story house at the foot of Sinjeongsan, with tables set in what used to be the living room and bedrooms. Its acorn set runs through five dishes in order: acorn pancake, seasoned acorn jelly, perilla-seed sujebi, japchae made with dried jelly, and jelly soup over rice. Rehydrated and stir-fried, the dried jelly ends up thicker and chewier than glass noodles, while the acorn-dough sujebi stays springy in a dense perilla broth. The closing jelly soup comes cold or warm. The special set adds smoked duck or large galbi ribs plus thin acorn crepes wrapped around a filling, and smaller appetites can order dishes individually or settle on muk bibimbap.
