Instead of a full dessert case, this cafe in Samdong-myeon, Namhae, sells one thing: yuzu castella, a sponge cake moister and softer than the usual kind, scented lightly with Namhae-grown yuzu. It comes on a plate to eat in or boxed as a gift. Milk is the drink that suits it best, with yuzu tea and drip coffee as the alternatives. The building is a renovated hanok with a wood-lined interior and a wide lawn out front. Castella often sells out by late afternoon.
