This Korean restaurant has been operating since 1981 in a residential alley near Songdo Station in Okryeon-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. A dedicated aging cellar is visible at the entrance, showing the process of fermenting domestic kimchi for two years. Unlike typical spicy and acidic kimchi stews, the dish here uses a unique broth made from shiitake mushrooms, dried shrimp, and green onions to deliver a mild, clean, and deep savory flavor. The main offerings include mugeunji kimchijjim and mugeunji modumjjim, which combines back ribs and dumplings with the aged kimchi. A set menu that pairs the steamed kimchi with soft boiled pork slices is highly popular among visitors. Side dishes such as salted pollock roe, japchae, and steamed egg are served, and wrapping the meat and kimchi in seaweed is recommended. The interior, converted from a residential house, offers a cozy dining environment with separate rooms. Since the dedicated parking space is very limited, guests need to park in nearby alleys or use a neighboring church parking lot available on weekdays. The restaurant is open from 10:00 to 21:30 and is closed every Wednesday. The establishment has been featured on television programs including Baek Jong-won's Top 3 Chef and Huh Young-man's Food Travel.
