Dongjak Gureum Cafe 동작구름카페

Dongjak Cloud Cafe is perched atop the Dongjak Bridge at 350 Dongjak-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul, accessible in about three minutes on foot from Dongjak Station Exit 1. It operates as a twin counterpart to the Dongjak Noeul Cafe on the southern end of the same bridge. From a height equivalent to a ten-story building, visitors enjoy a sweeping 180-degree panorama of the Han River, the riverside parks, and the surrounding urban skyline, which is the cafe's primary draw. The rooftop level offers an even more expansive view, and taking the stairs rather than the elevator rewards visitors with scenic glimpses along the way. The facility is owned by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and houses an E-Mart 24 convenience store inside, allowing visitors to grab affordable drinks and snacks to enjoy alongside the river scenery. The cafe also serves its own beverages, including wine and other alcoholic options, making evening visits particularly appealing. A selection of recently published books is available for free browsing, creating a pleasant environment for quiet reading with a view. Approximately 24 parking spaces are available on the bridge, charged at around 300 won per 10 minutes. An elevator connects the cafe directly to the Han River walking path below, making it easy to combine a cafe visit with a riverside stroll in a single outing. A bus stop is located right in front of the building for convenient public transit access, and the cafe can also be reached via the Han River park elevator from Line 4 Dongjak Station. Its proximity to the Seoul National Cemetery makes it a natural stop after a memorial visit.
