Sinsin Bunsik 신신분식

Thick pork cutlet gets an old-fashioned tomato-and-lemon sauce poured over it and shares the plate with rice, shredded cabbage salad and macaroni. This is gyeongyangsik-style donkkaseu, the crust soaked in sauce and eaten in turns with the rice, and it has anchored this snack shop since 1985. The larger special cutlet (teuk donkkaseu) has recently come off the menu. Tteokbokki comes in a big metal bowl, and the menu stretches to jjolmyeon noodles, omurice and rice-cake dumpling soup.
