Floor-to-ceiling windows face the East Sea horizon and a breakwater head-on, and the view shifts a lot between day and night at this large bakery cafe on the Gangdong coast of Ulsan. Breads run large, with the anbutter, a roll filled with red bean paste and butter, as the signature buy. Coffee and pastries cost more than at a typical cafe, which most visitors treat as paying for a seat by the sea. Brunch, served only until early afternoon, is better value: the lasagna comes loaded with cheese, and staff walk around refilling Americano in paper cups. On weekend afternoons drinks take a while and parking runs short.
