Vintage furniture, a long counter and classical or jazz from a vacuum-tube audio system give the room the feel of a jazz bar. The roaster, near Gunja Station in Junggok-dong, has roasted its own beans since 2006. The Einspanner tops coffee with house-made, dense cream and a scatter of sugar crystals that crunch, and the Vienna cocoa is thick and deeply sweet. There are no cakes or desserts, and prices are low for a roastery. The room is small enough that other tables' conversations carry, and parking is awkward.
