The barley rice arrives spread thin in a wide bowl with an assortment of seasoned greens, and terlegi is a two-person pot of hand-torn sujebi dough simmered in anchovy and kelp stock with doenjang (soybean paste), dried radish greens, potato and zucchini. Spicy stir-fried baby octopus and spicy pork, grilled semi-dried pollack, cheonggukjang (strong fermented soybean stew) and doenjang stew round it out, and many diners spoon the stir-fries over their barley rice; dongdongju rice wine is on hand too. The restaurant sits on a quiet residential street near Danbong Elementary School in Geomdan, Incheon, with a wide open lot out front for parking and a cafe upstairs.
