When the shop was named a Hundred-Year Store in 2019, it had already been making wandang for 36 years, having started as a small market eatery and passed to the next generation of the same family. Wandang wrappers are rolled wide and paper-thin from dough made in the shop, so they spread out in the broth and are eaten with a spoon. Busan wandang is the plain bowl of dumplings in a clear stock of anchovy, kelp, dried shrimp and mushroom, topped with bean sprouts, egg strips, laver and scallion.
