Thrill on the Mug is an ocean-view cafe on Haeyang Healing-ro in Yeongdo-gu, Busan, whose greatest asset is its sweeping sea panorama visible through floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace. It fills to near capacity within 30 minutes of its noon opening, with a notably high proportion of international tourists that lends the space an almost foreign-resort atmosphere. Coffee prices are reasonable, and the outdoor tables are ideal for simply gazing out at the water. However, drinks and baked goods are considered average relative to the view, so expectations should lean toward scenery rather than gastronomy. Note that lattes are available iced only. Public transit access is limited, so driving is recommended - a parking attendant on-site makes car access straightforward. It fits well into a Yeongdo coastal drive itinerary.
