Nanjidang 난지당

Dishes built on Korean royal-court cooking meet makgeolli, yakju and distilled soju in this restaurant-bar near Yangjae Station. Combination pajeon, one pancake holding several fillings, splits easily over makgeolli, and suji jeongol, a hot pot of springy beef tendon, turns drinks into dinner. Jiranjigyo, made with figs, brings fruit sweetness between salty, oily plates. Wine and highballs cover anyone not drinking traditional liquor. A private room, group tables and a terrace suit company dinners, and lunch is served as well.
