Namusae Chatjip is a traditional teahouse in a hanok at 47-9 Insadong-gil in Jongno, Seoul. Its menu joins concentrated Korean teas with red-bean desserts and rice-cake accompaniments. Special ssanghwa tea combines a dark herbal infusion with generous jujube and nuts. The drink therefore alternates between sips of warm tea and spoonfuls of softened fruit and crunchy garnish.
