Mungtaerim Cafe 멍때림카페

A raised concrete box forms the chapel on the grounds, with its front window aimed at the West Sea; inside, it divides into a sea-facing room, a small room for one, and a space open to greenery and sky. Architect Lee Eun-seok designed it, and it won a Korean Institute of Architects award in 2023. Food and drinks are ordered at Mattaerim, where the ice-cream croffle and cold-brew hibiscus lead the menu and yuja (citron) tea is also poured. Indoor seats and the terrace look toward Manisan, and separate rooms serve reading and meditation. The cafe appeared in the drama The Glory as Lee Sa-ra's studio.
