Mangwoo Jjim Ssambap 망우찜쌈밥

Steamed leaves and fresh greens share the table with thick gangdoenjang soybean paste at this ssambap, or lettuce-wrap rice, spot in Mangu-dong, Jungnang-gu. Mains split between pork, such as samgyeopsal jjim-ssambap with pork belly and a pork bulgogi set, and fish, with grilled mackerel or Atka mackerel. Each wrap is built from rice, the chosen main, a leaf and a dab of paste, so the balance shifts bite by bite. A Mangu-dong ssambap set named after the neighborhood is also on the menu.
