Makgeollinery 막걸리너리

Three makgeolli are brewed in-house: ricotta cheese, blueberry and a house version made without aspartame or additives. The chef's assorted jeon platter lays out 13 kinds of Korean pancakes on one board, from kimchi jeon and beef and pork yukjeon to perilla-leaf and whole-shrimp jeon. Sets pair the platter with one makgeolli, or with chicken tteokbokki, dumpling shabu hot pot or spicy sea-snail noodles. Jars and liquor bottles decorate a room that mixes bar seats with regular tables. The pub opened under this name in 2015 in Sinsa-dong.
