Jangdokdae 장독대

Savory Korean pancakes (jeon) fill most of the menu at this pub-style bar in Heukseok-dong, from seafood scallion and seafood kimchi versions to potato jeon, pizza jeon and an okonomiyaki-style one. Makgeolli (rice wine) is the usual pairing, with a honey makgeolli for a sweeter glass. Cold acorn jelly soup (muksabal) and hot fish cake soup break up the oil. Seating includes chairs and floor seats where you take off your shoes, and groups of up to 60 can book. Last orders run past midnight.
