Hwasuheon 화수헌

Leave the car at the riverside lot and walk about 100 meters along paddy and field paths to reach the hanok's wooden veranda and lawn. Doors to each room stay open for the breeze, and on hot days people take the air-conditioned rooms or the annex. The tteok waffle, made with rice batter, is crisp outside and chewy inside but bland on its own; it takes a spread of vanilla ice cream to turn it into dessert. Unsalted and low-salt rice waffles are there for small children.
