A cafe on the mid-slope of Seongjusan Mountain in Cheongna-myeon, Boryeong, converted from a former coal mine facility. The name derives from the Korean word for mine shaft, and the heavily weathered exterior creates a striking vintage impression. The approach features stepping stones and a water wheel set over a pond, while a mini suspension bridge on the terrace side offers views of the building and surrounding nature from different angles. Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows frame mountain and pond scenery, and an adjacent gallery building hosts exhibitions on weekends. In summer, visitors can step into the former mine tunnel for natural cooling. The noeul-ade (sunset drink) combines yuzu and omija for a tangy-sweet refreshment, and the potato bread has a chewy texture that families enjoy. The parking lot is spacious for convenient car access, making it a natural stop during a drive through the area. The cafe is best appreciated for its atmosphere and landscape rather than the coffee itself.
