Hanwoo sukiyaki set simmers thin slices of Korean beef with cabbage, onion, mushrooms and tofu in a shallow soy broth, and each piece is dipped in beaten egg before eating. Horumon nabe swaps lean beef for beef offal, so that pot turns richer and chewier. Eel comes two ways: anago chirashizushi with chopped conger eel spread over rice, or a whole grilled eel laid over a rice bowl. Downstairs, a long counter faces the kitchen, with separate tables for groups. The building sits in the Jeongdong-gil area, among early modern buildings.
