Daemun Hanjeongsik 대문한정식

Two set meals anchor the table at this Korean restaurant in Banghak-dong, Dobong-gu: ganjang gejang jeongsik, built around soy-marinated raw crab, and borigulbi jeongsik, built around dried yellow croaker. Both arrive with an array of side dishes. The real decision is crab or fish. For sharing, the menu adds hongeo samhap (fermented skate with pork and kimchi), hanwoo yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) and butter-grilled abalone. Since the set meals are a full meal on their own, these plates are added according to the size and appetite of the group.
