Udong Hangeureutjip 우동한그릇집

The signature gukmul curry udon has noodles tossed in a shallow curry broth; for clear broth there are housemade fishcake-skewer udon and tofu-pouch udon. Chilled buckwheat soba comes on in summer, and spicy udon with Tongyeong oysters in winter. The shop is a converted old house on a residential street in Dongcheon-dong, filled with antique pieces and an old pay phone, and part of the building runs as a small shop selling secondhand books and trinkets.
