Two dishes anchor the table: kimchi-jjim, long-braised kimchi, and samgyeopsal bossam, boiled pork belly sliced for wrapping. Daepa-jeon, a pancake packed with thick lengths of green onion, leans toward drinking food, alongside spicy stir-fried octopus, grilled pollock roe, seasoned whelk and clams steamed in liquor. The drinks list runs through many makgeolli rice wines and traditional Korean liquors, and one bottle brought from outside per table carries no corkage fee. At weekday lunch, diners get extra rice and makgeolli at no charge. Tables for two sit mostly on the ground floor, with four-person and group tables upstairs. With no parking, the easy approach is on foot from City Hall Station into Bukchang-dong.
