Songwon Mulhoe 송원물회

Set in a converted house between Songjeong station and Songjeong beach, the restaurant has entrances from both the front street and the back alley. Hwareo mulhoe puts sliced live fish and vegetables in a cold, spicy broth with rice on the side; the fish and vegetables are eaten first, then the rice goes in a spoonful at a time. The special version adds abalone, and hoe-deopbap mixes the fish into rice with sauce instead of broth. A warm maeuntang, spicy fish soup, follows the cold bowl. When the room is full, names go on a board at the entrance.
