Tuna gimbap gets its mayonnaise on top, added after the roll of tuna, cucumber, imitation crab and carrot is sliced. Beef gimbap centers on beef seasoned with soy sauce and garlic, and the other rolls split by filling: Spam and cheese, spicy stir-fried pork, or a long strip of breaded pork cutlet. A vegetable roll without meat can be ordered too. Tteokbokki, rice cakes in red chili sauce, takes optional cheese and pairs well with a few gimbap slices.
