Grilled meat and Pyongyang-style cold noodles share the table at this Mapo barbecue house on Samgae-ro. A round of pork galbi (marinated ribs) naturally ends with a bowl of Mapo Pyongyang naengmyeon. Beyond the ribs, salt-grilled pork and Hanwoo beef dishes fill out the grill menu, and Pyongyang bulgogi or eobokjaengban, a brass-platter beef hot pot, serve a whole group from one pan. On days without grilling, each diner can settle on hot galbitang, a clear short-rib soup, or the cold noodles instead.
