Bread is baked on site with a natural starter. Salt bread (sogeumppang), a buttery roll, also comes split and filled with vanilla-bean ice cream, and the six-section potato bread is stuffed with potato salad and garlic sauce. Pick your bread downstairs and head up: rice paddies, farmland and the ridge of Maebongsan open out beyond the second-floor terrace and the rooftop. The Pine in the name comes from the pine tree behind the building.
