KRIMZ is a small coffee shop on the ground floor at 402 Baekbeom-ro in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It lies along the walking route between Samgakji Station and the War Memorial, focusing on a coffee counter and a limited number of seats rather than a large bakery hall. Minimal furniture and restrained posters shape the interior. Tables are sized for one person or a small group sharing coffee and baked sweets. Einspänner is the central drink. A thick layer of cool, soft cream sits over concentrated black coffee made with espresso and water. The cream reaches the lips first with sweetness and dairy richness, followed by the bitter coffee beneath. The layers can remain separate for contrasting sips or be partially mixed to change the density. Americano, cafe latte, and decaffeinated coffee are also available. Ade, tea, and milk tea provide drinks without espresso. Desserts include chocolate cookies, financiers, and butter bars. A chocolate cookie combines a deep cocoa sweetness with a baked edge. Financier centers on browned butter and almond, giving it a nutty aroma in a small cake form. Butter bar uses a dense dough and pronounced butter flavor, making it heavier than the financier. Each pastry creates a different pairing with the cream-topped coffee or a brighter ade. The room's small scale keeps the drink preparation, pastry display, and seating close together. Its visual character comes from clean lines and simple graphic elements rather than extensive decoration. The Einspänner similarly relies on a visible two-layer structure rather than complicated toppings. Concentrated coffee, cold cream, a dark cookie, almond cake, and a dense butter bar provide clear changes in bitterness, sweetness, and texture.
