Mother-of-pearl cabinets and panels, lamps with traditional patterns and a modern take on a tiled hanok roof and corridor fill the room, and the inlay work continues into the restrooms. Pork is split into a Korean pork platter and aged samgyeopsal (belly), gabrisal (a tender cut near the neck) and hangjeongsal (jowl), each also offered with live abalone added. Beef options are a hanwoo platter, thin chadolbagi brisket and thick-cut chaekkeut sirloin. For a meal instead of a grill session, bulbaek is marinated pork with a smoky char served with rice, and steamed egg and banchan sit between the meats. The restaurant is tucked into an alley off Tongil-ro in Chungjeongno.
