Bosudongga is a house-style cafe reached by climbing a steep flight of steps at the end of Bosu-dong Book Alley in Busan. A yellow gate marks the entrance above the lane. Beyond it, a converted older home unfolds across a ground floor, a sunlit upper level, a small planted garden, and an outdoor terrace. Wood surfaces inside and greenery outside preserve the residential character of the building and fit the surrounding district of secondhand bookshops. The setting is suited to carrying in a book purchased nearby and spending time quietly, with the first floor, upper windows, garden, and terrace offering different amounts of light and separation. Hand-drip coffee and Einspanner topped with cream form the main coffee choices. Croffles and pudding add contrasting desserts, and some sweets are prepared in the cafe. A table may therefore compare the warmth and crisp edges of a croffle with chilled, soft pudding and a concentrated cup of coffee. Takeaway and reservations are part of the format. Dogs are admitted under defined conditions, with larger dogs using the outdoor area rather than the interior. The cafe operates as a no-kids space, so its quiet atmosphere excludes visits with children. Service is concentrated in the daytime and Wednesday is the regular closing day, making the venue more closely tied to an afternoon walk through the book alley than a late-night cafe route. There is no private parking area. Drivers leave their cars at paid lots around the book district and complete the approach on foot. The staircase is an important practical feature rather than a minor detail: it creates distance from the busy lane but also makes access difficult with a wheelchair, stroller, heavy suitcase, or limited mobility. In mild weather, the garden and terrace expand the old house into an outdoor pause. During rain or strong heat, the ground floor and bright upper room carry most of the seating.
